About Baytul Nafs
Baytul Nafs is a California nonprofit corporation and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to supporting justice-involved adult men during their critical reentry period. We provide structured transitional housing and comprehensive support services designed with cultural responsiveness and faith-informed principles specifically tailored for Muslim men. Our mission is to promote housing stability, employment readiness, personal accountability, and successful community reintegration for individuals navigating the highest-risk period after release from incarceration.
Through our holistic approach, Baytul Nafs offers case management, life-skills education, workforce preparation, peer mentoring, nutrition education, external referrals, and community development services. We believe in empowering our participants to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose, helping them transition from incarceration to productive, stable community members. Operating on a not-for-profit basis, we reinvest all resources into expanding our services and deepening our impact on the lives of those we serve.
